It’s in Mission Valley close to the merge of the 8 and the 15 freeways and next door to M20 marine. We work Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00.

Originally from London England Simon Jakeman arrived in the US in 1992 and studied for his Airman’s Certificate at Apex rigging in Riverside. His sewing skills have been examined and approved by the Federal Aviation Administration under the most stringent tests. He is licensed to work on all parachuting equipment. In 1998 Jakeman moved to San Diego and learned to sail. Realizing the similarities of sails to airplane wings and parachutes, Jakeman became fascinated with the world of sailing and more importantly, sail making. He entered the industry that summer and 9 years later is an accomplished sail maker. Most weekends he can be found sailing on Mission Bay or freefalling over Otay Lakes.
